The 35-year-old tourist from Pabianice was attacked with a knife in Tijuana in Mexico and died of injuries. The first reports show that he could die as a result of a misunderstanding, which was still intensified by a language barrier.
As we read in relations from a tragic event, the Pole was attacked on Thursday, May 8 in the dangerous district of Tijuana – Granjas Familiares II. It was recorded how the 35-year-old tries to hide in a bus, where two men are catching up. One of them sprayed the fire extinguisher towards the Pole, the other he dealt with a knife.

The attacked tourist was to jump out of the vehicle and run away. However, he was caught at the fence and received further blows. The attackers only stopped when he fell from his strength. The investigation into the murder was started by the prosecutor’s office of Lower California. The activities began with the arrest of the bus driver. Evidence is also examined, including monitoring.
The Pabianic New Life portal wrote a little more about the mysterious circumstances of the incident. Local journalists say that the Pole was robbed and tried to contact his loved ones. He tried to use the phone in the store, but no one understood the language he used.
At one point, the 35-year-old was to behave strangely what the people in the store worried. According to witnesses, he approached a woman with a 5-year-old child, took glasses from his backpack and put them on a child. Then he was to hug the child, but according to the description he did it in a specific, “euphoric” way. The scared mother began to call for help. She was afraid that her child would be kidnapped.

The head of the office of the Prosecutor General of California Dolna pointed out in a statement for the media that the Pole certainly did not try to abduct the child, there was not even illegal imprisonment. “At first glance, it seems that this person was uncontrolled,” she said.
She continued to announce that the body of the 35-year-old would be subjected to toxicological examinations. Investigators want to check whether his strange behavior was due to the use of intoxicants. Mexican services emphasize that no script has been excluded yet.
The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Mexico also commented on the tragic matter. “The Consul of the Republic of Poland in Mexico takes appropriate actions in connection with the murder of a Polish citizen in Tijuana” – we learn from the message.
According to the New Life of Pabianic, the 35-year-old was once punished. In 2016, he was to be sentenced to eight years in prison for beating and inadvertently causing death.
