The Polish woman began her fight for Wimbledon’s dreams from Tuesday’s playing Ranah Akua Stoiber. In the second party it was not so easy anymore, another of the British “wild cards” threw everything at the scales of victory. It was not enough, however, because coffee won 6: 4 this time and the whole meeting 2: 0 in sets.
Who will the coffee will face in the third round (final) of qualifications for the main tournament in London? The opponent will be Iva Jovic, an American tennis player, who is considered great, world talent, champion of junior Grand Slam tournaments. Interestingly, Jovic on the way to the final with coffee eliminated … another Polish representative Linda Klimovicova. The exact date of the Polish match with the American is not yet known.
The third of Polish players – Maja Chwalińska also lost in qualifying.
Wimbledon 2025 main ladder starts from June 30 (Monday). The final of the ladies on July 12 (Saturday), and the day after the gentlemen (Sunday). The prize pool in this year’s edition of the tournament is 53.5 million pounds (approx. 267.6 million zlotys). Title in the single defends Czech Barbora Krejcikova and Spanish Carlos Alcraz.
