A manifesto of Polish science is created, “The book of the most important creative achievements of the 21st century”. This unique document is to show the true face of Polish science. His goal is to collect and present these groundbreaking research, technologies and innovations created by Polish scientists, which have a real impact on social life, the economy and the development of the state.

The initiative to create a document was announced during the 3rd Congress of Science for Society. This is the first publication of this type, which in order and prestigious is to show the potential and effectiveness of Polish scientific and creative thought.

– In Polish research and educational institutions, many achievements are created, and then implementations that change our lives, surroundings and undoubtedly affect how society works. In our opinion, knowledge of this subject is still very small. Co -financing is needed for the development of such projects, but earlier – you should know about them and understand them – believes prof. Henryk Skarżyński, OTOCHRUGRAG, OTORYNOLYNGOLOGY, AUDIOLY, phoniator, Director of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, and at the same time the originator of “Book of the Most Implementation of the Most Implementation of the 21st Century Creative Achievements” and the Chief Organizer of the 3rd Congress of Society for Society.

Polish science changes the world and time to show it

The book will include dozens of examples of the most important Polish scientific achievements, which have already found or may be used in areas affecting society and the economy – especially their development. According to the initiators of the document, the potential of Polish scientific achievements is impressive – however, it requires adequate support.

– Speaking of science and its needs, and especially about their funding, we want to indicate that a lot of good is happening in Polish scientific units. This is often a tailor -made achievement not only national, but European, and often even global. That is why you should show how you can change our surroundings even more effectively, and thus – how to get the economic effects of implementing ideas achieved in the scientific field – emphasizes prof. Skarżyński. According to the scientist, there is still enough knowledge about the potential of native science.

The book is to help Polish scientists

The authors of the book also want to offer changes in the system of financing research and creative projects.

– A representative of the world of science is not still paid today. Therefore, he must choose something else that will quickly have a financial effect. Therefore, we offer changes in financing of native science to stop our talents in the country – says prof. Skarżyński.

It reminds that research does not always bring only a desired or quick effect, but our activities must be long -term and systematic implementation work.

– This is natural and normal, because even a negative result is also a certain achievement, because it indicates that this path should not be taken into account – a scientist.

The book will be transferred to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and other public institutions as a symbolic manifesto of the potential of Polish science.
