Polish Olympians to Reach Paris on Time. A Beautiful Gesture from the CEO of InPost
The problem of Magda Linette and Magdalena Fręch has been solved. The Polish Olympians could have had trouble getting to Paris on time due to the postponement of the final match in Prague. Fortunately, everything ended well.
Magda Linette defeated her compatriot Magdalena Fręch in the historic Polish final of the WTA tournament in Prague. Unfortunately, just before it started, a big problem arose, because the time of the clash was postponed.
Unexpected problems of Polish tennis players
This meant that the tennis players could have trouble getting to Paris for the Olympic Games. Magda Linette described everything in one of her tweets. “Hey, what do you do when you don’t have friends with a Private Jet, and the WTA postpones your final match, so you have no chance of flying to Paris for the Games before the air zone is closed? Magda Fręch and I are waiting for your tips,” wrote Linette on the X portal.
InPost CEO Rafał Brzoska weighed in on the comments section. The billionaire, who supports Polish sports, offered his help to the tennis players. “Ms. Magda, please DM me with the details and I will try to help,” the founder of InPost replied.
The head of InPost helped our Olympians!
As he said, so he did. The tennis player informed about everything via her Twitter. First, she “parodied” the post of Jacek Sasin, a PiS politician “I’m on my way to the Games. I have good information. Details at 12:00” – we read.
Interestingly, the former deputy prime minister and minister of state assets responded to this entry by the Polish representative. “Mrs. Magda! Congratulations on your victory in Prague and I wish you further success in Paris!” he replied.
A moment later, she added a photo of herself on board the plane just before takeoff. She captioned the photo: “If angels exist, they all definitely have the name Rafał. Thank you Rafał Brzoska – our life saver!” – she noted.
Fortunately, everything ended well and Magda Linette and Magdalena Fręch will reach Paris before the air zone is closed and will be able to take part in the tennis competition without any problems.
