Polish cities with purest air. This time it’s not about spas

We will not find the best air quality in Poland in the south of the country. Katowice and Kraków lose to a crete with many larger and smaller locations.
Known Polish cities can compete with each other in many ways. Rankings are regularly created in which their attractions, prices, restaurants and many others are evaluated. Recently, attention was paid to, among others on the air. It is in these cities that its quality is the highest.
Air quality was examined in well -known cities
This week we got to know the results of the latest Business Insider ranking, which compared 16 voivodship cities in terms of many key indicators. Thanks to this, we learned, among others, which locations are best and least suitable for everyday life. Air quality turned out to be an important element. It turns out that there is only one king in this category, followed by the often underestimated cities on the podium.
Although it is known for a long time that one of the places famous for its clean air in Poland is the spa Gołdap in Warmia and Mazury, it was not concentrated in this ranking in such small towns. Instead, Olsztyn, Szczecin or Opole were also there. The latest edition of the ranking reflects the condition at the end of 2024. Interestingly, it was noted that in one of the places air quality improved towards the previous year.
Here are the cities with the purest air
Gdańsk became the leader in terms of air quality. Does this mean that in order to breathe healthy, it’s worth going to the sea? Yes, yes. It also turns out that you do not need to avoid a large city for smaller resorts. Behind him on the podium was Białystok, and Olsztyn in third. It is not difficult to notice that there were places often underestimated by tourists, which have many natural values and interesting attractions. Perhaps the fact that the air in this area has good quality will motivate even more people to arrive?
In the top ten on the list there was still Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poznań, Rzeszów, Łódź and Kielce. Unfortunately, the best air quality cannot boast of Wrocław or Krakow, which is not associated with dense smog from today. The capital of Lesser Poland was in the penultimate place in the ranking, while Katowice lost to everyone. Warsaw turned out a bit better than Krakow, but worse than Wrocław. Good news is that in Rzeszów the air quality has improved in relation to last year, unfortunately similar information was not presented on other locations.
