Primark announces ambitious development plans in Poland, allocating over EUR 25 million to open three new stores. In Lublin, Białystok and Warsaw.

The expansion will increase the brand’s presence on the Polish market, creating as many as 400 jobs and expanding the retail space by over 25%.

Primark in Poland: Expansion on a grand scale

Primark, an international leader in clothing sales, continues its dynamic expansion in Poland. Just four years after opening the first store in the country, the brand announced an investment worth more than EUR 25 million. As part of this investment, three new locations will be created in Lublin (Felicity), Białystok (Atrium Biała) and Warsaw (Promenada shopping center).

400 new jobs

The opening of new stores is planned for the financial years 2025/2026 and 2026/2027. This expansion will increase the number of Primark locations in Poland to 10, while expanding the brand’s total retail space by over 25%. Importantly, the new investments will contribute to the creation of as many as 400 jobs, supporting the local economy and strengthening Primark’s position on the Polish market.

Poland as a strategic market for Primark

According to Maciej Podwojski, Head of Primark CEE, Poland is a key market for the further development of the brand in Central and Eastern Europe:

It is thanks to the commitment of our employees, who have become the best ambassadors of the brand, that we have achieved such big success.”

Stationary stores – the foundation of Primark’s development

Primark, as a retailer based on the stationary store model, is consistently developing its operations in Poland. The brand has gained the loyalty of Polish customers thanks to a wide range of fashionable clothes at affordable prices. Subsequent openings will enable reaching even more customers, while strengthening the brand’s position in the country.

The brand, known for offering fashionable clothes at affordable prices, made its debut in Poland in 2020, opening its first store in the Galeria Młociny shopping center in Warsaw. It was a long-awaited debut that aroused considerable interest among Polish customers following the brand’s success in other European countries. The following stores are currently operating:

  1. Warsaw – Galeria Młociny (opened in August 2020)

  2. Poznań – Posnania (opening in May 2021)

  3. Kraków – Bonarka (opening in November 2022)

  4. Katowice – Silesia City Center (launched in November 2022)

  5. Łódź – Manufaktura (opening in September 2023)

  6. Wrocław – Magnolia Park (started operations in August 2023)

  7. Bydgoszcz – Zielone Arkady (open in November 2024)
