Poles have long wanted to fly here. Wizz Air will soon start with a new route

A awaited route was in the summer schedule of Wizz Air from Warsaw. Until now, Poles could fly to this airport only from Krakow.

From August 2, Poles will receive access to more direct flights to London Gatwick airport. In addition to Wizz Air and Easyjet from Krakow, tourists from Poland will also be able to use the latest connection of Wizz Air from Warsaw Chopin. Thanks to daily flights, travel to the capital of Great Britain will become even easier. Passengers will also be happy to better communicate the airport from the city center than in the case of the popular port of Stansted.

From Warsaw directly to Gatwick

Already this summer, Wizz Air will launch the awaited flights from the main airport in Warsaw to Gatwick. The premiere connection is planned for August 2. Flights are to take place every day in the afternoon and world. According to the aviation market, the departure from Great Britain according to the schedule will take place at 17.00, and the return from Warsaw will start at 21:20. The new route will be launched thanks to the purchase of more Airbus A321neo passenger aircraft.

Which airport in London to choose?

Until now, passengers flew to Gatwick only from Krakow. The route had to be very popular, since the Hungarian carrier decided to move it to Warsaw. From the capital, tourists only had connections to Heathrow and Luton airports. The first, however, was the port used only by more expensive airlines, such as LOT and British Airways. The second, located about 50 kilometers north of the center of the Luton airport was a better option for passengers than a worse connected port in Stansted, but it was still not the right choice for those whose goal was the southern part of London or popular places on the coast, such as Brightton or Worthing.

Traveling by train from the Gatwick airport to the London Victoria station takes only 30 minutes. There are also many bus connections (the duration in their case, however, exceeds two hours).
