A unique living nativity scene in Gozo

On Malta’s sister island, Gozo, we find a unique Bethlehem village in the town of Għajnsielem. In 2007, on an area of 20 thousand square meters, a village was built there, modeled on Bethlehem from the time of Jesus. The nativity scene in Għajnsielem is unique because it is a living nativity scene. Residents and volunteers recreate scenes from the Gospel.
