The unique hostel in the Sudetes is apparently the dream workplace of many Poles. Only a few days after placing the offer, it was covered with applications.
The hostel in Szczeliniec is a unique place-it is located at an altitude of 905 m above sea level in the northwestern part of the Szczeliniec Wielki platform, the highest peak of the Table Mountains. This is the only hostel in the Sudetes, which you can’t reach by car or bike.

The owner of the facility announced recruitment on social media. People for office and administrative work were sought.
“If you are a responsible, committed and ready to work in a unique place, we are waiting for your application. We need people who can start working at the latest on May 25 and work at least until the end of June. It is possible to employ until the end of October,” we read.
The candidates had to be organized, meticulous and like work with documents. Their tasks will include Service of email correspondence, simple administrative work, help in organizing the work of the shelter. In addition to “honest remuneration” during employment, they can count on “Free accommodation, media and meals (including delicious coffee and waffles!)”
A few days later, it turned out that a lot had been received, and the manager noticed that the candidates had a very tried. “Thank you again for your interest in working in our shelter! We are looking forward to welcoming new members of our team with a view of the mountains!” – we read.
Work in the mountains. You won’t get here by car
It is possible that recruitment will come back in the following seasons. A similar application was posted in February, so if you are looking for a change in your professional life or you want to gain the first experience in the hotel industry, it is worth observing the profile of this object.
The “in Szczeliniec” hostel was built in 1845 and is the oldest shelter in the Sudetes. To get to it, you don’t have to buy a tourist ticket. The paid episode begins behind him. The facility has 36 beds in a tourist standard.
In front of the building you can admire the beautiful panorama of the Giant Mountains with Śnieżka, Sowie Mountains, Kamienne and Boumovian walls.
