Poles are increasingly willing to buy apartments in Spain. It’s not just the weather that attracts

The price increase does not discourage foreigners who are still willing to buy apartments in Spain. Poles constitute a significant group among them.

Last 2024, real estate prices in Spain increased by approximately 8%. These increases, however, do not discourage foreigners who are still willing to buy apartments in this country. It turns out that Poles occupy the leading position in this group.

Poles buy apartments in Spain

According to data from the organization that maintains the real estate register, Registradores de Espana, in the third quarter of last year we were the fourth largest group of foreigners who buy real estate in Spain. Only the British, Germans and Moroccans overtook us.

It is estimated that almost every fifth apartment in Spain is bought by foreigners. In the period July-September last year, Poles purchased 1,296 properties, i.e. 30 percent more. more than in the previous quarter and by as much as 62%. more than in the corresponding period of 2023.

We most often purchase properties located in Catalonia, Valencia, the Costa Blanca and Andalusia, where the famous Costa del Sol tourist region is located.

Why is there so much interest in real estate in Spain? The key factor is, of course, the weather, which you usually don’t have to worry about, but prices (although they have increased recently) and the issue of safety also turn out to be an attraction.

It’s not just the weather that attracts
