Poles about “slimming” the government. 26 ministers too much?

A week ago, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced “slimming” his office. The SW Research survey for “Wprost” shows that almost two -thirds of Poles want to reduce the Council of Ministers.
At the beginning of last week, Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski said in an interview with Radio ZET that after the presidential election there would be deeper changes in the Council of Ministers. A day later, Prime Minister Donald Tusk confirmed this, announcing that we will have “one of the smallest governments in Europe”. This means not only personal but also structural changes, which will involve the liquidation of individual ministries.
Poles with the “slimming” of the government
At the moment, Donald Tusk’s office has 26 constitutional ministers. Poles look favorably at the planned “slimming” of the government. This is commanded by the SW Research survey for “Wprost”. To the question: “Should the Council of Ministers be reduced?” Nearly two -thirds of the respondents (65.3 percent) answered in the affirmative. Such changes are not expected only by every tenth participant of the study (9.9 percent), and a quarter of the respondents has no opinion in this matter (24.8 percent).
