Pole criticizes high prices at Sulejów Reservoir. “No, these are not seaside prices”

Prices in holiday resorts have often made tourists dizzy. It turns out that it is not only the seaside or the mountains that are expensive, but also popular bathing areas.
The unattractive pricing situation was pointed out by one of the internet users who runs a profile on the X platform. On an account called @lucekteam, he shared a post in which he criticizes how much food and drink costs at the Sulejowski Reservoir. He blames a specific group of people for this and writes about madness.
Crazy prices at Sulejów Reservoir?
The Pole revealed that he has lived by the Sulejowski Reservoir his entire life and there has never been “such madness” there. For the uninitiated, we will reveal that we are talking about an artificial reservoir located in the Łódź province, approximately 84 km from Łódź and 140 km from Warsaw. The closest people to the place are residents of nearby villages and towns, but people from larger cities from different parts of Poland also come in crowds.
At the lake you can use, among other things, a camping site, a beach or a port on Cypel. There is no shortage of green areas, and the water is suitable for swimming and water sports. It is there that we will also find numerous catering points. As one of the men pointed out, these are crazy and may remind us of the already known high prices from the Polish seaside.
Pole criticizes prices at the lake
An Internet user pointed out that a portion of fries at the Sulejowski Reservoir costs PLN 15, and a beer on tap costs PLN 16. A waffle with fruit is supposed to cost PLN 28, and grilled beef costs PLN 129 for 200 g. A small still water for PLN 10 also turned out to be a hit.
“It’s not Tusk’s fault. It’s the fault of the owners of the premises, who are screwed up in their heads and think that people are millionaires and will buy everything regardless of the price. They prey on tourists during the season, ripping off money without any restrictions. The best thing is that after the season, when autumn starts approaching, it will suddenly turn out that 50 percent of these prices are also ok and are completely enough to be satisfied with the income,” the man commented.
The Pole also pointed out that there is complete exploitation on the spot. “The owners of the premises, after closing for the day, sit with a beer and laugh. They laugh and count the money,” he commented. In his post, it was easy to see the resentment towards Poles who allow themselves to be persuaded to pay such high prices and the accusations of their naivety.
Internet users commenting on the post also made it clear that Poland is expensive in various parts of the country and that you can eat cheaper abroad. “It’s like that everywhere, I understand ZUS fees, electricity, utilities, but they want to make a fortune in a short time,” it was written. “We are in Masuria. The prices are even more crazy,” someone else added. Another Pole pointed out that during his stay in Milan, he paid only 7 euros for two double espressos and croissants with panaceta. What do you think about this situation?
