Poland 2050 shoulder to shoulder from PiS. Hołownia explains
On Wednesday, July 9, the Sejm adopted an amendment to the act increasing on social construction. The amendments passed through the voices of PiS, the Confederation and Poland 2050, which has already been commented on, among others Szymon Hołownia and Włodzimierz Czarzasty.
In the Sejm, an amendment to the Act was voted, which increased the expenditure limit from the state budget to social construction. The amendments reported by Poland 2050 were supported by Law and Justice and the Confederation. In turn, other coalition parties were against, including the left behind the entire project.
PiS and Poland 2050 voted together. Hołownia comments
Szymon Hołownia commenting on the voting result did not attach much importance to this one-off “alliance” with PiS. “The fact that PiS has supported good amendments is a matter of PiS,” he said briefly. – We are of the opinion that we are in politics to do things that are good for people – he noted.
– There was a plan to give it a second lap, because MPs came to me while voting, saying that maybe it would be possible to take off this vote and work on it. Ultimately, the decision of the authors of the project was that we are going with it, we vote, so we stood with our corrections – he added.
Journalists emphasized, however, that the behavior of Poland 2050 had a different weight in the light of the recently described meeting of the Speaker of the Sejm with PiS politicians. Hołownia at the dinner with Adam Bielan saw Jarosław Kaczyński and Michał Kamiński associated with PSL.
– The Act is a law and very clearly, and we also clearly want to show that we go out above this sick, tribal mentality, that if one camp says something, the other must protest, and he says so, then those have to scream – emphasized Hołownia.
Czarzasty assessed the behavior of Poland 2050
Włodzimierz Czarzasty as a co -chairman of the new left did not hide his surprise after the vote. – This is a surprise, probably a little smaller after the meeting of the Sejm Marshal Szymon Hołownia with Adam Bielan and Jarosław Kaczyński, but it hurts – he admitted.
He emphasized, however, that this would not affect decisions during the reconstruction of the government. – We mastered the ability to forgive, but it is simply not politically not a good move when the coalition needs consolidation and joint action on all fronts – he noted.
He stated that the voted amendments would not significantly affect the shape of the law, because they were reported by people who “have no idea about this act and do not know residential.” He stated that some of them would be improved in the Senate.
