PiS will give up social this time? A list of new promises has been revealed
The details of the report were revealed in which the PiS organizations and young politicians presented a list of promises that would help the party return to power. Those who are counting on the new 800 plus will be disappointed.
Organizations and young politicians related to Law and Justice presented a long list of promises with which Jarosław Kaczyński’s party could go to elections in 2027. Business Insider Polska informs about the details of the “Young Report 2025-2027”. The document supported, among others Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
New PiS promises. Who will use?
In the publication to be a “voice of a conservative young generation” you can find a long list of economic proposals in the spirit of previous PiS obligations. One of them is an extension of zero PIT to people up to 30 years old, which is to enable young people to collect savings for important life purposes, such as Purchase of an apartment, further education or development of professional competences. Young entrepreneurs would also join this relief, which would mean that they would not pay tax on business activities up to 30, but they would also be exempt from paying social security contributions for the first 12 months of activity (instead of the current six months).
Another of the proposal assumes the extension of Karol Nawrocki’s election promise regarding the tax relief for families. I am talking about release from PIT people with at least two children and an annual income of up to 140 thousand. zloty. Young people want to cover virtually everyone, including people on activities settling e.g. a lump sum.
There was also a proposal for mothers with at least four children. They would be released from PIT for the rest of their lives, regardless of the age of children or their status (e.g. independence). The exemption would include income from work, pensions, pensions, without the upper income limit, as a form of recognition of their contribution to the demographic and social development of the country.
Without a new 800 plus
Young people also want to relieve employers employing pregnant women. ZUS would pay the benefit to such a person from the first day of absence, and not as now from the 33rd day of incapacity for work.
In the list of promises, there is no way to look for proposals of 800 plus. There are no social announcements in the report, as is tax proposals. As the portal notes, the authors of the report in this way let the confederation, i.e. a potential coalition partner in the new hand. The report also lacked information on the costs of the proposed solutions.
