PiS has a plan to reduce energy prices. We know the details
“Instead of producing electricity, the KO government produces regulations that increase electricity prices!” – says Mateusz Morawiecki. Can you do it differently? The former prime minister presented details of the energy plan for Poland. It was developed by PiS politicians.
“High current prices are ruining household budgets and choke Polish companies. They also take away jobs. Why is this happening?” – Asks the former Prime Minister in the new material and justice material (and in the past, among others, the Minister of Development and Finance).
Jarosław Kaczyński’s party has developed a plan to fix the situation. Morawiecki presented his elements step by step.
Morawiecki believes that electricity bills may be smaller by as much as 30 percent. How?
In the film, the lector indicates that the problem around energy prices is related to “EU regulations, green order, ETS and ETS2 system (they are aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions by trading in carbon dioxide emissions (CO₂) – ed.
“The current government (coalition on October 15, whose boss is Donald Tusk) instead of producing electricity, produces regulations through which the electricity will be more and more expensive. We know what to do to avoid the energy crisis and ensure that the bills are not getting higher” – assures PiS.
Morawiecki believes that electricity bills can be “reduced by 30 percent”. How? “Thanks to the rationalization of energy policy” and “thanks to cuts” in the area: “tax on goods and services”, “distribution tariffs” or “irrational fees”. – Let’s act now! – encourages the former prime minister on Platform X.
The main assumptions of the Law and Justice energy plan
The purpose of the plan, in addition to significantly reducing the prices of electricity bills or VAT reductions, is also “Simplification and digitization of support programs”, as well as “Social tariff for the most sensitive”. Specifics? 30 groszy per kilowatt hour (kwh) and an energy voucher in the amount of up to one and a half thousand zlotys.
Morawiecki and PiS party ensure that “stable and clean energy” will be given to us “two large atomic and SMR power plants”, i.e. small modular reactors. According to politicians, “Gaz is a flexible source of” fast start “on the peaks of consumption, based on Baltic Pipe (for gas pipelines – ed.), LNG (liquefied natural gas) and own extraction.” Coal – in this area, the opposition sees the need for “modernization until the atom is fully replaced”, but without its “sudden extinguishing”. As for renewable energy (renewable energy sources) – they should be present, but “only in hybrids with energy warehouses”. “Stability – without the risk of Blackouts and waste” should ensure here.
In terms of cheap distribution tariffs – PiS plans here, among others “A decrease by a 20%”, which would translate into “10% less in home accounts” and “PLN 5-10 thousand savings per year for SMEs”, i.e. in the sector of small and medium -sized enterprises. And in the case of PLN European Union, the plan assumed “a departure from unreal CO₂ reduction goals”, i.e. giving up the pursuit of a 55% CO₂ emission by 2030.
