Lake Wapienniki. Why do they call them “little Croatia”?
It is a lime lake located just over an hour from Łódź and about two from Warsaw. Since limited limestone was brought out of it, the water has a beautiful turquoise color. On the slopes of the excavation, pines grow, which are even more associated with Croatian views. In principle, the Mediterranean climate can only be enjoyed by watching the lake. About 7 km from here is also the Sulejów Landscape Park, eagerly chosen by people wandering in the woods and cyclists. As soon as it gets warmer, “little Croatia” in the province.
