Pia Skrzyszowska fifth world fence! The Polish woman presented herself from a very good side in the competition at the World Championships in Tokyo.
For the Polish athlete it is a really big achievement, considering how big the competition is during the competition 100 meters through fences. Especially in the event like the world championships.
First, the Polish woman in her semi -final took third place and had to look at the results of the other two runs (two best from each with direct promotion).
The time of 12.53 seconds turned out to be sufficient. Interestingly, in the qualifying rounds of the 2025 World Cup in Tokyo, the Polish woman ran even faster, with a result of 12.51. And that was the best time in the season (for that moment) of the Polish fencer.

Skrzyszowska was the only representative of Poland, looking at the rivalry of the fisheries. Earlier, Jakub Szymański disappointed among men. The European Indoor Champion from this year did not manage to translate the form into stadium realities. In addition to Szymański, Damian Czykier also dropped out in the qualifying rounds. Szymański reached a time of 13.74 seconds, taking seventh place in his elimination race. Czykier came to the finish with a result of 13.58 s. In the case of the latter, the Pole has a difficult, demanding season in which there was a lot of health problems. Much more was expected from Szymański, after all, this year’s European champion.
Skrzyszowska was promoted to the best eight in the world with the last result. Such a good result for the player herself shows how strong the stake is speaking during the fight for the title of the best fence in the world.
In the final, which took place several dozen minutes later, Skrzyszowska was in a very good 5th place. The Polish woman thus achieved life success, reaching the finish line with a time of 12.49 s. I.e. with the best result in the season, which shows that she hit the form accordingly.
