Photo of PiS MP by a network hit. There is one problem

Dominika Chorosińska

PiS MP Dominika Chorosińska published a false photo on the network. The indignant Internet user accused her that she did it consciously.

On Sunday, July 6, Dominika Chorosińska posted a photo on her Facebook account, allegedly presenting the scene from the border with Germany. “Poles come and thank the fans for defending Polish borders!” She wrote. In the photo we see a crowd of people, two Polish flags and a person in a balaclava, who thanks one of the current ones.

Dominika Chorosińska publishes “FEJKA”. Deliberately?

The whole scene described above is so -called FEJK, AI, or artificial intelligence. This was noted, among others Publicist Wojtek Kardyś. “A perfect example of how mulled immigration is, which, supported by AI, makes people’s head in their heads. MP Dominika Chorosińska with full deliberately disinforms, throws the generated photo” – he wrote.

“Effect? Over 5,000 interactions, 1,700 comments, 110 shares. I know that the MP is lying, you already know, but what if thousands of people, on the way to work, came across this post and only confirmed the belief and right -wing narrative,” he pointed out.

Activist Bart Staszewski went even further. Commenting on the Kardysia entry, he made a serious accusation to Chorosińska. “It is not that she is sitting and searching for these photos. She gets an information package on the group on Signal/Whatsupa and Elo,” he said, suggesting a PiS MP unclean motivations. It is worth noting that the MP did not remove the above -mentioned photo on Monday evening.

Civic patrols at the border

In recent weeks, self-proclaimed “civic patrols” organized by the Border Protection Movement, an association associated with Robert Bąkiewicz-known for marching of nationalists and controversial media speeches, began to appear on the Polish-German border. In practice, however, they do not resemble peaceful social guards. According to experts, we are dealing with something much more dangerous.

– These are no patrols, only militias. We know who controls them and who has influence on them – warns prof. Agnieszka Kasińska-Metryka, political science and specialist in crisis communication in an interview with Onet.

Activists of the borders’ protection movement patrol not only border belts, but also appear around border crossings, record and publish their interventions on the Internet. Their actions are aimed at – as they declare – the protection of Poland against the “migrants” and the passivity of the government. However, in the opinion of many commentators, this is primarily a show of strength and an attempt to take control of public message.
