From 2026, mObywatel will show the pension forecast and the IKE/IKZE/PPK balance. ZUS and MC combine data, but the full view depends on voluntary providers.

Preparations are underway to launch a function in the mObywatel application that will allow you to check both your hypothetical pension and the funds accumulated in private pension programs in one place. This is the result of an act already in force, the practical application of which is scheduled for January 1, 2026. ZUS and the Ministry of Digitization in cooperation with the Central IT Center are responsible for data integration and their presentation.

Information in the application

After abandoning the construction of the Central Pension Information, it was decided that from the beginning of 2026, ZUS, together with the Ministry of Digital Affairs and COI, will aggregate information on pension products and make it available to users. Instead of a separate login to each entity managing IKE, IKZE or PPK, the data is to be presented in one place – in mObywatel, via ZUS.

The Ministry of Digitization explains that ZUS has been authorized to obtain electronic information about a person’s pension products. At the same time, MC and COI are responsible for implementing the service in the application, including preparing a preview of the pension account balance and hypothetical pension. At this moment, arrangements are being made as to the detailed scope of data available in mObywatel. ZUS informs that it is preparing to implement new regulations.

The key issue remains the completeness of the image. The obligation to provide information applies to the Polish Development Fund, which manages Employee Capital Plans. However, institutions managing IKE, IKZE, PPE and OFE will be able to provide data voluntarily. This means that the full scope of information will depend on the cooperation of private entities and the consent of users themselves.

Initial talks

The Chamber of Commerce of Pension Companies declares its interest in joining the project and is conducting preliminary talks with the Ministry of Digitization and ZUS. At the same time, he emphasizes that the scope, form and mode of data transfer remain to be agreed, and obtaining consents from OFE members will also be a challenge. According to IGTE, the ability to view aggregate information on pension security will facilitate monitoring preparations for retirement and will have educational and motivational value.

The Ministry of Digital Affairs emphasizes that the exact date of making the first functions available will be determined after the start of implementation work, which is possible after January 1, 2026. Currently, the pension forecast can be checked at PUE ZUS, and the balance of funds in IKE, IKZE and PPE – after logging in to the relevant institutions. The exception is PPK, where the balance is also available via the official website of the program.
