Pendolino to Zakopane for PLN 1. Today is your second chance to buy a ticket
Although the action – just like last week – will probably be quick, it is still worth trying to take advantage of it. PKP will soon make tickets for PLN 1 available for the fast Pendolino to Zakopane.
Getting a ticket for PLN 1 sounds like a dream. Many Poles will try to fulfill them, so it is worth starting the “fight” for a place immediately after the sale starts – i.e. today, on Wednesday, September 24. The announcement is already visible on the carrier’s website.
Pendolino for PLN 1
To buy a ticket to Zakopane for PLN 1, just wait until 10 a.m and start the transaction process. The orange inscription “Choose a seat” is already displayed on the PKP Intercity website and in the application price for first class travel on October 18 for PLN 1. First class is not available.
Importantly, the promotion applies only to one departure date, i.e. Saturday October 18. Pendolino starts, among others, from Warszawa Centralna at 7:40, and arrival is scheduled for 12:14. You can also travel by train, among others: from Krakow. People from Małopolska will travel much shorter, also for PLN 1. You can also return for the same price, but only on the same day. If you stay in Zakopane for a longer time, you will have to buy a return ticket at a normal price, for about PLN 145.
This is a sought-after action
It is worth remembering that it may not be easy to get a Pendolino ticket for PLN 1. The first sales round took place on September 18, but at that time it was hard to believe that the campaign had even started. The carrier’s website constantly showed unavailability of seats. Many people online commented with bitterness on this course of events. This is why PKP extended the train to Zakopane and is launching the second pool.
What will it be like this time? We’ll find out soon. One thing is certain, if you are interested, the sooner you try to buy a ticket, the better.
The fastest journey from Warsaw to Zakopane will take 4 hours and 45 minutes. You will be able to set off on your return journey from Pendolino at 15:50 to reach the capital in the evening at 20:14.
