Paweł Wąsek flew! Disqualification of a Pole on Wielka Krokiew

The individual World Cup competition in ski jumping in Zakopane for the hosts is successfully arranged. Paweł Wąsek and Kamil Stoch showed up solidly.
Paweł Wąsek landed on 136 meters, which gave him second place at the time of landing. Ultimately, the team leader finished the first series in seventh position. He overtook, among others Kamila Stoch (133 m) and Dawid Kubacki (132 m). Two experienced Poles showed a good side in Zakopane and will start in the competition.
Aleksander Znamczoł and Jakub Wolny will remember the poorly Sunday competition. The first one jumped only 127 meters, rummaging his chances of promotion to the final series. The destroyed, unfortunately, confirmed the poor form, which he also presented the day before in Zakopane.
The news about free is even sadder. The jumper after his attempt was disqualified for the irregular size of the suit.
The leader on the halfway point is Laniszek Anże, Slovene finished up to 145 meters, delighting with his form. It is also worth appreciating a great atmosphere in the stands of the Zakopane facility. Ski jumping fans from Poland have traditionally not disappointed.
World Cup in Zakopane: The best Austrians, Poles jumped “on five”
On Saturday (i.e. January 18), a team competition took place at Wielka Krokiew. As for the winners, there was no surprise, the Austria team won. Slovenia in second place, and the podium was completed by the Norwegians. The Poles took the fifth position, starting in the composition: Aleksander Znamczoł, Kamil Stoch, Dawid Kubacki and Paweł Wąsek.
The best of the Polish jumpers was the last of these. Wąsek passed jumps at a distance of 133. 138 meters. The Austrians literally knocked the competition. This can also be seen in the Cup of Nations, in which Austria clearly leads over the rest of the stake. On Saturday evening, to show the dominance of Austrian jumps, the advantage over the Polish team in the total note – amounted to over 100 points. This is a real knockout.
