Passengers were too loud? A brawl on a PKP train

Traveling by public transport can be troublesome, especially if we don’t follow the basic rules. This is exactly why there was an argument at PKP.

Maja, who runs a TikTok profile called @_majakolodziejczyk, recently experienced a restless journey on a PKP train. She posted a short video on her profile. You can hear a quarrel between one of the men and several women. “When you wanted to read a book in peace, but a man sat down next to you and you already knew that it wouldn’t be ‘boring’,” the internet user wrote in her post. She mockingly referred to the Book Beat advertising slogan, which was displayed on the seat in front of her: “A lot of boredom? Listen to audiobooks.”

Restless moments on the PKP train

The man who caught the woman’s attention was sitting in a chair in the row next to her, with bare feet and no shoes, which at first glance suggests that he was not following the rules. This sight is disturbing to many people, and after taking off your shoes, there is often an unpleasant smell in the air. The recording posted online by the woman is quite quiet, so you can’t hear exactly what the man said in the argument with the women. However, from the comments under the TikTok post, we learn that it was mainly about loud conversations.

“They’re discussing, damn it,” the man comments on the women’s conversation. You can hear that he is clearly dissatisfied and notices that the women are louder than he is. Maja, who witnessed the whole situation, wrote: “They exchanged three sentences at the beginning, they weren’t particularly talkative at all. He was the one talking like crazy.”

Internet users comment on the scandal

The video recorded at PKP, which went viral, has aroused great interest among internet users. The post has garnered over 120 comments. Many people asked what it was all about and noticed that loud conversations can be disturbing for passengers. “The truth is that many people forget the basic rules in public transport, they don’t talk loudly, don’t eat noisily, and even less so don’t produce intense odors,” commented one user. “The guy sounds like a typical boor and a yob, there’s no doubt about it, but the hucksters who babble on trains are also a higher level of boorishness and lack of culture,” added another.

There was also advice that in such a situation, the conductor should be called as soon as possible, who should take care of peace. It was noted that another solution may be to choose carriages with a quiet zone. Many Internet users recalled their journeys with PKP and pointed out that noisy passengers are a common problem. “I have been traveling by train for a few years now and I could honestly start writing a book about what happens there. Maybe one journey was great, the rest were not. And the most problems were caused by adult men,” commented one of the women. What are your experiences in this matter?
