The series of secondary school leaving examinations began on Monday. The Central Educational Commission estimated that in 2026, nearly 345,000 students will take the secondary school leaving examination. this year’s secondary school graduates. However, the total number of writers will be higher, because people who either did not take the exam in previous years or failed it will also try their hand at it.
Among those taking the secondary school leaving examination in 2026 is Oskar Pietuszewski. One of the greatest talents of recent years in Polish football.

Jagiellonia Białystok boasted about the presence of the 2008 Polish representative in the country on social media. Pietuszewski is a student of the Jagiellonia Sports Championship High School in Białystok.
Interestingly, just a few dozen hours earlier, Pietuszewski was in Portugal, celebrating winning the national championship with FC Porto. The offensively-minded player joined the legendary club in the winter of 2026. As it turned out, Pietuszewski quickly became an important piece of the puzzle in the team.
Let us add that there are two other Polish representatives in FC Porto – Jan Bednarek and Jakub Kiwior. The first of the mentioned defenders scored the goal that resulted in FC Porto’s victory, sealing the trophy.
We can only keep our fingers crossed that Pietuszewski will do as well during his high school graduation challenge as he did on the pitch – whether in the colors of FC Porto – or in the Polish national team’s jersey.
Looking at the photo posted on social media by the Białystok club, it seems that Pietuszewski was and is ready for the high school finals challenge.
Written exams will be conducted from May 4 to May 21, and oral exams will be held from May 7 to May 30. Each high school graduate must take three exams at the basic level (in Polish, mathematics and a modern foreign language), as well as two oral exams (in Polish and a foreign language). High school graduates are also required to take one written exam at an advanced level in a selected subject.
