Orlen extended the picnic to drivers. Fuel prices down
Until Friday, a special promotion for drivers is underway, the concern also reduced wholesale prices for fuel. According to experts, these declines are justified.
Business Insider Polska writes about the pre -election miracle at Orlen stations. It seemed that after picnic promotions, drivers only have to count with increases, while until May 16, i.e. until the last day of the election campaign, refueling can realize special vouchers. The concern offers a PLN 15 discount on the first refueling (minimum 30 liters) for users of the Orlen Vitay application and additional coupons worth PLN 10 for further purchases.

On Thursday, wholesale price of 95-octane gasoline decreased to 4.53 PLN/l (the day before it was 4.55 PLN/l). The portal points out that the price of Ekodiesl (4.54 PLN/l) remained at an unchanged level. Thus, most passenger car drivers will experience reductions. The website reminds of the extremely attractive prices that took place before the last parliamentary elections, during the presidency of Daniel Obajtek. This time, however, there is a real basis for measuring prices. Business Insider Polska points out that on Wednesday the prices of European Brent oil and the American WTI will decrease. The zloty strengthened in relation to the dollar by 0.14 percent.
E-Petrol.pl experts calculate that over the last week, the popular “95” has become cheaper by 6 groszy. Its liter currently costs an average of PLN 5.73/l. For a liter of diesel and autogas, you currently pay 5.79 and 2.94 PLN respectively.
The least for fuel and diesel refuel pays in Silesia. Their liter is offered on average 5.62 and 5.69 PLN. In turn, LPG is the cheapest in the Świętokrzyskie Province (PLN 2.81/l). On the other side there are Mazowsze and the Lubuskie Voivodeship. In the first of the regions, the most expensive are “95” and diesel (5.98 PLN 5.95 PLN/l, respectively). The most expensive is autogas.
