Air France is expanding its Train + Air service. Thanks to this, the airline’s customers, including passengers from Poland, can travel throughout France on one ticket.

Air France is developing cooperation with the railways. Together with the railway carrier SNCF Voyageurs, they offer a joint product Train + Air – an integrated air and rail journey on one ticket. Now the jointly offered service has been extended to all OUIGO trains serving Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. OUIGO serves over 60 railway routes in France, including to cities such as Avignon, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Grenoble and many others.

Plane and train ticket in one booking

As part of the service, passengers benefit from:

  • one booking covering the entire train and plane journey;

  • guarantee of a seat on the next available train or plane in the event of a delay or cancellation, at no additional cost;

  • fully digital operation of the entire journey, including the possibility of online check-in on the Air France website from 30 hours before departure.

Train+Air tickets can be booked via airfrance.pl and this also applies to trips from Poland. For example, if we choose the Warsaw-Avignon or Krakow-Strasbourg route, we will receive a ticket for a combined journey.

More passengers choose rail

The airlines inform that in this way they want to meet the needs of customers. Interest in travel combining rail and air transport is growing. Over the last six months, Air France has recorded a 43% increase in the number of trips made on Train + Air compared to the same period in 2025.

Intermodal transport is one of the areas – alongside fleet modernization, eco-piloting and sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) – on which Air France relies in achieving its environmental goals.
