It is not known whether a village resident did it specifically, or maybe it was unintentional to lead to a dangerous situation. “Pilots always report any such situation that occurs most often during start or landing, when the helicopter is closest to the earth. The TSO appealed to Internet users, warning them that it was a crime. “For blinding the crew and bringing a threat to air traffic, there is a fine and imprisonment from a year to 10 years, and in special cases – up to 12 years imprisonment,” reminds firefighters.

In the past, there have been cases when someone intentionally directed light – using, for example, a laser. The services warned that this could even lead to permanent damage to the pilot’s vision.
