Cruises are an interesting alternative to classic hotel stays. We will soon have a new hit in Europe.
Large cruise ships are mainly associated with exclusive ocean travel. No wonder, after all, such ships sometimes look like floating cities with swimming pools, theaters, restaurants and SPA salons. The main leaders Royal Caribbean and MSC Cruises are not everything, completely different operators are also important, e.g. those responsible for river cruises. One of the popular ones is preparing a new hit for tourists.
A unique cruise ship on the Danube
We are talking about AmaWaterways, a company that organizes premium cruises. She announced that she would be responsible for the largest European cruise ship, which will be launched on the Danube in spring 2027. It will accommodate 196 guests in 98 cabins and suites and will allow travelers to slowly discover beautiful places.
To take advantage, you won’t have to fly very far from Poland. The ship is scheduled to start its journey in Vilshofen, Germany. The attraction will be open from April 11, 2027i.e. before the summer peak. The same ship will also be able to cover other popular routes of the AmaWaterways shipowner, including “Magna on the Danube” and “Gems of Southeast Europe”.
There will be no shortage of attractions on board
On the ship called “AmaRudi”, designed especially for sailing on the Danube, you will find spacious apartments with hotel-like balconies. There will also be four restaurants, pickleball courts and a Zen Wellness Studio zone.
In addition, there will be several new products that have not been available on AmaWaterways ships before. As we read on euronews.com, these include: Journey’s Restaurant, The Chef’s Table, al fresco dining, the new Rudi’s Wine Bar and an expanded drinks program, including over 30 free wines served with lunch and dinner.
It is worth remembering that the announcement of a huge hit on the Danube would not have happened if it were not for the earlier success of the first AmaMagna. The new ship is intended to surprise travelers even more and offer relaxation combined with various activities.
