Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: The situation in Israel, Jordan and Lebanon is deteriorating

The spokesman for Polish diplomacy, Maciej Wewiór, noted in his latest post on social media that the security situation in Israel, Jordan and Lebanon is deteriorating. “With the support of our consulates, since Saturday, nearly 500 citizens have left Israel by land, and almost 800 have left Jordan – mainly by sea. The MFA team picked them up in Taba on the Egyptian side,” Wewiór explained.

“There are only a few people left in Israel, and there are basically no tourists left in Jordan. Basically, because… our consul today reached a group of nine of our compatriots who have just come from Egypt to Jordan for a trip…” – the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summed up his post. On the Polish abroad website, which contains information and warnings from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for travelers, you can also read that the conflict in the Middle East may affect Cyprus at any time.
