Not only Kraków and Wrocław. Christmas markets are starting in these Polish cities
With the first snowfall, the atmosphere becomes more and more festive. Where to go to a Christmas market in Poland?
For some, it is an inseparable element of the Christmas atmosphere, for others, it is a commercial place that they avoid. Christmas markets come from the medieval tradition and for many years it has been difficult to imagine the winter landscape of large cities in Poland without them. At the stands you will find delicacies and hot drinks, exhibitors with handicrafts, and in some places, carousels and ice rinks.

Prices at a fair in Poznań
The record holder for fairs in Poland is the capital of Greater Poland. This year you can visit as many as two fairs in this city – stands can be found at Wolności Square and at the Poznań International Fair. “Poznań Bethlehem” started on November 18 and will last until December 22. As we have already written, the opinions of Poznań residents about it are divided. Some residents are disappointed with high prices.
Tourists will certainly also visit the fair in Krakow in droves. This year, once again, CNN placed the fair taking place on the Main Square of the Old Town on the list of the most beautiful, alongside fairs in New York, London, Vienna and Prague.
Is there anything we need to add to our list? Which fair in Poland is worth visiting?
