The best places for installment plans in Europe? There are at least a few of them, although a lot depends on the individual preferences and needs of tourists. Every year, experts check which slopes deserve to be called unique and share their observations. It turns out that in the 2024/2025 season, specific countries and their centers should draw our attention.
The best skiing destinations in Europe
When we think about skiing abroad, we often think of Austria or Italy. It is obvious that not only the centers in these countries are considered the best. Representatives of the insurance comparison website CUK Ubezpieczenia shared a special guide listing the most beautiful and best resorts. Each time, attention was paid to the quality of ski slopes, the length of the season, the availability of accommodation and other attractions.
France, Switzerland, Spain and popular Italy were at the top of the list. Germany and Austria also appeared, and interestingly, even Georgia. It was also recalled that none of them is the cheapest and they definitely outperform them, among others: Slovakia, Czech Republic or Portugal.
Which ski resorts should you choose?
Recommended slopes in France are Courchevel, Val d’Isere and Chamonix. In Switzerland, it is worth paying attention to the picturesque Zermatt, St. Moritz and Verbier. In Spain you can ski, among others: in La Molina, and in Italy Livigno, Val Gardena, Cortina d’Ampezzo and Courmayeur. In Austria, St. Patrick’s Day is a hit. Anton am Arlberg, Kitzbühel, Sölden, Hintertux, Gudauri in Georgia, and Zugspitze in Germany.
As you can see, there are a lot of offers, and although each place is associated with winter sports, it is known for something completely different. For example, French Courchevel is considered the most luxurious in Europe. Therefore, it will be perfect for people who have a larger budget and value high comfort. Of course, unique views also play a key role.
In turn, the French resort of Val d’Isere is considered one of the most beautiful resorts. Each subsequent one offers, among others: panoramic views and an atmosphere straight from a winter postcard. The list also includes the oldest ski resort in the world, the Swiss St. Moritz.
