Not just all-inclusive resorts. Wizz Air may soon fly to these cities
Wizz Air will launch flights from Poland to Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh and Marsa Alam. However, the list of potential directions is longer.
The dream of Polish tourists about cheap and regular flights to Egyptian resorts will soon come true. At the end of October, Wizz Air will launch direct connections to Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh and Marsa Alam. However, it turns out that the possibilities of the Hungarian carrier are much wider. According to the Aviation Market, under the authorization of Wizz Air Hungary Legiközlekedési Zrt. to perform regular air transport between the Republic of Poland and Egypt, there is also a chance to launch destinations such as Luxor or Aswan.
Egypt on your own instead of with a travel agency
At the beginning of July, Wizz Air surprised its Polish customers by entering the Egyptian market. Thanks to flights from Warsaw, Katowice, Krakow, Gdańsk and Wrocław to the most famous resorts on the Red Sea, it has become easier to organize a holiday in this country on your own, without the help of a travel agency. The upcoming winter season will show how much interest there will be in this type of holiday, as the first flights to Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Sharm el-Sheikh will start in October. The prices are definitely encouraging – on these exceptionally long routes, tickets can be purchased from PLN 289 one way.
Not only all inclusive – Luxor and Aswan on the horizon
The Civil Aviation Authority allows Wizz Air to expand its offer of connections to Egypt in the future. If the airline decides to exercise its full rights, destinations such as Luxor and Aswan may appear in the schedule, which means involvement in a completely different type of tourism. The list of potential airports where Wizz Air could theoretically host also includes Taba and Al-Alamajn – one of Egypt’s newest resorts located on the Mediterranean Sea.
