No more Ryanair flights from Poland. Important direction removed from the timetable
Ryanair has introduced changes to its winter flight network. An important city disappeared from the carrier’s schedule for good.
Is this the end of flights from Poland to Jordan? Ryanair has decided to remove the routes from Krakow and Poznań to Amman from its winter flight network, thus depriving Poland of direct flights to this country. As Rynek Lotniczy writes, Ryanair will not fly to Amman from other cities in Europe and it is not known whether this will change in the summer season. Interestingly, Wizz Air and LOT still fly regularly to Israel (Tel Aviv), which is located next to Israel.
We will not fly to Amman with Ryanair
Ryanair’s return on routes from Poland to Jordan has been in doubt for many months. Initially, the carrier planned to resume flights from Krakow and Poznań to Amman in June, then postponed them to July, and then to the end of October. It is now known that this deadline will also not be met. According to the Aviation Market, the possibility of booking tickets from both Polish airports for the entire 2026/2027 winter season has disappeared from the sales system. Planes were to fly from Krakow twice a week – on Mondays and Fridays, and from Poznań on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Moreover, Ryanair currently does not plan flights to Amman from other European cities in winter.
To Jordan only with a transfer
Ryanair’s decision means significant difficulties for tourists who wanted to visit Amman in winter or relax on the Gulf of Aqaba, which is approximately 330 kilometers away from the capital of Jordan. Now passengers from Poland will have to find a convenient connection with a transfer or go to the airport that connects to Amman.
Aviation Market points out that the situation is completely different in the case of nearby Israel. Direct connections from Poland to Tel Aviv, despite numerous problems in the past, are still offered today by Wizz Air and LOT, which shows that individual carriers currently have different approaches to operating in this region.
