No more cars. The popular island wants to make changes
This island is to become the most green place on earth in the future. The government does not want to see combustion vehicles on it.
The Vietnam government wants the island of PHU Quoc to start a gradual ban on gas -powered vehicles with gas and diesel. The purpose of these departments is to transform the direction popular among tourists so that by 2030 it becomes one of the most green and environmentally friendly places in the world. The Vietnamese island, thanks to trips organized by the Rainbow travel agency, is also popular among tourists from Poland.
PHU QUOC without cars and motorcycles
Nothing is associated with the atmosphere of Southeast Asia as rows of motorcycles and touch touches traversing crowded streets. Unfortunately, vehicles powered by gasoline and diesel apply to deterioration of air quality, which in many places in this region of the world may be harmful to humans. The space completely free of cars and motorbikes was introduced, among others On the Bali Islands belonging to the district, where bikes and horse carriages are the only possible form of transport.
Soon, a much larger Asian island wants to introduce similar restrictions. By 2023, there is to be neither combustion cars nor motorcycles on the Vietnam PHU Quoc. The decision was made during a recent meeting of Vice -Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung with province leaders. The green transformation of the island will be introduced gradually, and the exact stages of changes are not yet known.
Poles do not need a visit
The island of PHU QUOC is a visa -free zone, which is also similar to Rainbow. “In the case of a residence event at PHU QUOC, there is no obligation to have a visa, therefore customers do not have to complete any visa formalities. If you want to leave the island and get to the continent (until 31/12/2025), the visa is also not necessary. From January 1, 2026, the visa obligation for these people returns on the website of the travel agency.
However, the website of the Republic of Poland warns that released from visa (during trips to the continental part of Vietnam) are Polish citizens as part of programs organized only by Vietnamese companies providing international tourist services.
