Nightmarish news from Łódź! A well -known representative excluded

Jakub Popiwczak

Jakub Popiwczak joined Norbert Huber among the injured representatives of Poland. The news came straight from the Łódź Atlas Arena.

We would like to remind you that in the Saturday semi -final of the Champions League, the middle JSW of Jastrzębski Węgiel, Norbert Huber, suffered an eye injury. That is one of the Polish representatives. Although it finally turned out that the injury was not as serious as it could be assumed, and the player himself appeared in the Atlas Arena on Sunday, in an unusual role.

Bad news from Łódź. Unlucky injury of Jakub Popiwczak

Unfortunately, this is not the end of the club from Jastrzębie-Zdrój. During the warm -up before the match for the bronze medal of LM, Libero Jakub Popiwczak suffered an injury.

“In today’s match we will play without Norbert Huber, who yesterday suffered an eye injury and without Jakub Popiwczak, who was renewed on the pre -match warm -up. Health, gentlemen!” – we read in the official announcement of JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel.

It is worth recalling that he suffered an injury for the first time during the semi -final competition in PlusLiga against the later, as it turned out, Polish champions. In the competition with Bogdanka Luk Lublin, the basic libero did not participate, and was exchanged by talented Jakub Jurczyk.

The same player entered the JSW Jastrzębski in a Sunday match with Ankara Halkbank.

Nikola Grbić will have a problem? An important volleyball player fell out of the game

The unanswered question remains how serious the ashside injury is. Libero is definitely PlusLiga’s headlamp, in addition, there are many indications that it will be number 1 in the Polish national team. Coach Nikola Grbić in the 2025 season will not use Paweł Zatorski, the Olympic runner -up, the most successful team volleyball player in her history. It seems that the time has come for a popiwczak right now.

Therefore, the libero from Legnica (Lower Silesia) remains to wish as much health as possible and cure the injury. Certainly, the Polish volleyball player took some risk associated with returning to the team after previous problems. It is hardly surprising, however, that Japiwczak wanted to help the team fight for a valuable success in the Champions League. The more that for him and players such as the mentioned Huber or Tomasz Fornal-this is the last tournament in the colors of the club from Jastrzębie-Zdrój.
