New promotional week at PKP. This time, tickets to these cities are cheaper
More than three Polish cities are waiting to be visited as part of the PKP Intercity promotion. This is what appeared in “Trails with Pedigree” on May 27.
On May 27, like every Wednesday, PKP Intercity published a list of cheaper destinations for the next week. Those interested have a few days to buy seats on board. A week ago the focus was on connections from Przemyśl, Rzeszów, Kraków, Katowice and Wrocław, and this time the choice is no smaller. Ticket prices are reduced by a minimum of 21%.
Promotion for PKP Intercity tickets
The current promotion is valid until June 2 or while stocks last, and this time it is valid for journeys made during the entire pre-sale period. In the coming days, PKP customers can buy tickets on the Tricity-Bielsko-Biała or Tricity-Katowice routes and in the opposite direction from IC Hutnik. The train travels approximately 700 km every day and passes as many as 31 cities, where you can also get off. As you can see, we will go from the mountains to the sea, choosing e.g. Gdańsk, Sopot or Gdynia.
PKP encourages travelers to discover the industrial heart of Poland, which has been associated with metallurgy and railways for years. Passengers going to Katowice will pass, among others: Dąbrowa Górnicza, Sosnowiec and Zawiercie. The carrier also presents the history of Polish gems and some of the attractions that await them.
Those interested in traveling by IC Hutnik train will reach, among others, to such places as: the Silesian Museum in Katowice – located on the site of the former “Katowice” mine, the Iron Ore Mining Museum in Częstochowa, EC1 in Łódź and “Sołdek” in Gdańsk.
The “Trails with Pedigree” campaign is not over yet
The “Trails with Pedigree” promotion started on March 25, 2026 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of PKP Intercity. From the above-mentioned date, every Wednesday, for up to 25 weeks, the carrier’s customers can count on tickets at lower prices. Every Wednesday we find out what directions the action covers for that week.
Each time we are encouraged to discover Poland and introduced to various attractions and interesting facts about famous places. Tickets can be found on the official website: intercity.pl/pl/szlakizrodowodem in the “Super Promo” tab. It shows that, for example, on Saturday for a trip from Bielsko-Biała to Gdańsk we will pay PLN 71, and from Gdańsk to Katowice from PLN 68.73.
