New KSeF 2.0 ready for testing. The expert recommends caution
Entrepreneurs can now test the new National e-Invoice System 2.0. The Ministry of Finance has launched an open test environment of the Taxpayer Application.
Since yesterday, entrepreneurs can check how the new National e-Invoice System 2.0 works. The Ministry of Finance has launched open tests of the KSeF 2.0 Taxpayer Application, providing entrepreneurs, accounting offices and software suppliers with a test environment.
– This is the first moment when entrepreneurs can actually see what everyday work with KSeF 2.0 will look like. It is worth spending a few hours on tests, especially on checking eligibility, issuing invoices in various modes and handling QR codes – says Piotr Juszczyk, Chief Tax Advisor at inFakt.
As the ministry emphasizes, this is a key stage of preparations for the launch of the production system, scheduled for February 1, 2026.
Open tests of the KSeF 2.0 Taxpayer Application
The Ministry of Finance has launched a test environment so that users can familiarize themselves with the functionalities of the new application. From November 3, 2025, you can:
-
familiarize yourself with the provided software,
-
test application functionalities in an unlimited way,
-
report potential errors in the application.
– The new application is a fully refreshed interface that allows you to issue, receive and view invoices in the FA(3) structure – effective from February 2026. Users can test the process of issuing an invoice, searching for documents, downloading them in XML, HTML or PDF format, as well as using functions such as offline mode, support for dependent entities, tokens, certificates, QR codes and permissions management – explains Piotr Juszczyk.
The expert emphasizes that all activities performed in the test environment have no legal consequences, the data may be fictitious, and the documents are only for trial purposes.
– Personally, I recommend providing fictitious data, because our “tests” remain visible to others. So I advise caution, adds the tax expert.
