As the expert notes, the duties imposed by Trump will increase prices, including some electronic equipment.
– As every year, also in this, we can expect the premiere of new iPhones and other equipment from the Apple brand. It’s just that its prices from 2025 will be definitely higher than last year’s ones. The largest iPhone production takes place in China, and yet it is China that the highest duties were imposed on China – notes Piotr Juszczyk, the main tax advisor of Infakt in an interview with “Wprost”.

According to the expert, prices can reach a dizzying level, unattainable for the average Polish consumer.
– In my opinion, if this policy is maintained, the flagship Apple products, which are iPhones, may cost nearly 10,000 this year. zloty. This means that the prices of iPhones will be higher than the average salary and twice as high as the minimum wage in Poland – says Juszczyk.

It is not difficult to predict the consequences of this state of affairs. Products with a symbol of a bitten apple, which are not the cheapest today, can become a luxury commodity.
– As a consequence, the iPhone can become an object for a few. On the other hand – it will not be so worth the price, although it does not count for lovers of the brand. They just want to have it and they will pay much more for him this year – notes the expert.
