Nawrocki at the Lechia Gdańsk match. The eloquent reaction of the fans

Karol Nawrocki does not hide that he has been a faithful supporter of Lechia Gdańsk for years. In one of the interviews, the politician said that for the first time his father took him to the stadium, in the 1980s the younger son of the president-14-year-old Antek-is a footballer of Lechia junior teams.

In an interview with Sławomir Mentzen during the Presidential Campaign of KArol Nawrocki boasted that he was taking part in supporter laws. He is also a co-author of the book “Lechia-Juventus. More than a match”, which was published on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Gdańsk team.

A few days after swearing in, the president decided to extend his visit to his hometown of Gdańsk.

On Monday, August 11 Karol Nawrocki and their sons Daniel and Antek appeared at the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk stadium to watch the Ekstraklasa match between Lechia Gdańsk and Motor Lublin. The politician was also accompanied by Fr. Jarosław Wąsowicz, whom he appointed as his chaplain.

Lechia fans prepared a warm welcome to the new president. As soon as they saw the politician, applause was heard. Jan Kanthak has released a recording on the network, on which fans of the Gdańsk team chanting the surname of the head of the state.

In turn, in the stands you could see a banner with the inscription “You were, you are, you will always be a fan of Lechia” and the image of Karol Nawrocki. Moreover, a member of the supervisory board of Lechia Dariusz Krawczyk gave the politician a special club scarf in white and green colors.

It is not yet known whether Karol Nawrocki is planning more frequent visits to the Gdańsk stadium. Another opportunity to see Lechia’s struggle live on August 24. During the Tri-City derby, the White-Greens will face Arka Gdynia. Currently, the Tri -City team takes the last (18th) position in the league table.
