Natalia Bukowiecka will be missing at the European Indoor Championships. The information was provided by the athlete itself through social media.
The European Indoor Championships will take place on March 6-9 at the Dutch Apeldoorn.
The bronze medalist IO 2024 Natalia Bukowiecka (formerly Kaczmarek), however, during this event will be missing in the ranks of the Polish national team.
“Well … yesterday was sweet and bitter for me. On the one hand, I am glad that we managed to start and finish two runs in full health and on the other I know that I did not count on such a result. Did I make the right decision to start despite many adversities? I do not know that, but I know that if I did not try to try, I would still wonder what would happen if … I also know that the pressure I put on myself after the games is huge, so it remained in easy and again start to enjoy running. As you guessed, I’m not going to the European Indoor Championships, so for me it’s the end of the indoor season. European Indoor Championships without Natalia Bukowiecka!

Athlete fans can be a bit disappointed with Bukowiecka’s absence during a party in Apeldoorn. On the other hand, it is obvious that the most important in the long run of the athlete’s career is health. At the beginning of February, Bukowiecka suffered an injury during the myth in Ostrava.
Only a dozen or so days passed and the Polish woman stood at the start of the Polish championships during the indoor competition in Toruń.
For the Bukowiecka weekend start, it was the first completed run in the 400 meter hall in two years. The runners managed to break 52 pp. Checking at the finish with a score of 51.88 seconds. This is the third result this year in our country. Only Justyna Święty-Ersetic had better results-in Toruń (51.36 s) and in Spała (51.79 s).
In the final, Bukowiecka reached for silver MP. The mentioned Saint-Ersetic turned out to be better at the last straight.
