If the senior has the right to pension benefits paid by two different institutions, the Honorary Benefit will grant and will pay ZUS.

Honorary benefit may also be granted at the request. This applies to people who do not have the right to their own pension or disability pensions, but have Polish citizenship, they are 100 years old and had a center of personal or economic interests in Poland for at least 10 years after the age of 16. In such a situation, ZUS will grant the senior an honorary benefit for the month in which the person will submit the application.
