Money refund for farmers. Invoices and an application are enough
Farmers can count on a refund for fuel. The new recruitment starts on August 1. For the application you will need invoices from the last 6 months.
On August 1, 2025, the second round of submitting excise duty refund for fuel used in agriculture is starting. Farmers have until the end of the month to provide relevant documents, including VAT invoices confirming the purchase of diesel oil in the last six months. The procedure takes place through municipal and city offices.
Tax refund
The return is granted to those farmers who have not used the full limit in the February recruitment. The amount of return remained unchanged compared to last year and amounts to PLN 1.46 for each liter of purchased diesel. There are also specific limits depending on the size of the farm and the number of animals.
In 2025, a farmer can recover:
-
PLN 160.60 for each hectare of agricultural land (110 liters x PLN 1.46),
-
PLN 5.84 for each piece of pigs (4 liters x PLN 1.46),
-
PLN 58.40 for each DJP unit of cattle, sheep, goats or horses (40 liters x PLN 1.46).
How to submit an application?
Submission of an application is possible by both natural and legal persons conducting agricultural activities. Tax refund funds will be paid between October 1 and 31. The offices have until mid -September to transfer financial demand to the relevant institutions, and after receiving the funds they can proceed to the implementation of payments.
Money can go to farmers in cash – at the office of the office – or as a transfer to the indicated bank account. The rules are clearly defined and the formalities are simplified.
It is also worth recalling the latest changes to the provisions that are aimed at facilitating the submission of applications. Farmers breeding farm animals – such as pigs, cattle, sheep, goats or horses – can now download the necessary documents from the ARiMR system. The new solutions are aimed at shortening the time of service and simplifying the procedure.
