Beauty Güler Erdogan delighted many people and thanks to her the model a few years ago won the title of Miss Europe. Although the girl has gained popularity, and tens of thousands of Internet users began to observe her in social media, it did not bring her luck. According to CNN, the 27-year-old fought depression and had suicidal thoughts. Unexpectedly, she died in tragic circumstances.
Güler Erdogan is dead
The tragedy took place on Tuesday, April 1 this year. That day, the Turkish model visited the city of Giresun with her family to celebrate the festival of Kurban Bayram. The girl spent an evening at a local bar, where she consumed alcohol. Then, after leaving the premises, she got behind the wheel of the car, even though she was intoxicated.
At some point, Güler Erdogan was detained by the police. According to Turkish CNN, at the control point officers found her blood alcohol levels of 1.70 mg per 100 ml (in Turkey the permissible content is 0.5 mg per 100 ml). Due to the fact that Miss over 3 times exceeded the permissible norm, she was afraid of consequences. Then she left the car and began to run away from the police.
Unfortunately, when the 27-year-old began to run on the viaduct over a six-lane highway, she lost her balance. The model fell from the viaduct to the following road from a height of 15 meters. A moment later she was tragically hit by an oncoming car. Due to the impact force, the model died on the spot – the injuries did not give her a chance to survive. The police initiated an investigation.
– During the investigation it was established that Erdogan was drunk. She abandoned the car and escaped – a spokesman for the police told the media.
After death, all her posts from the profile observed by 56,000 Internet users were removed. One entry was published then, in which the closest ones questioned the circumstances of the model’s death. They wrote: “Do not believe false information and reports about the death of our daughter, sister and friend, Güler Erdoğan. Our sister lost her life as a result of a tragic accident. As her family we were with her at the time of the event.”
