The mObywatel application has a new update for iOS and Android devices. The changes are not revolutionary, but they make the application easier to use.

Although the update does not introduce new documents or services, it brings a number of improvements that increase the comfort of use. We encourage you to read the details.

mCitizen. The new version is now available on Google Play and App Store

The creators of the mObywatel application consistently work on its development, providing new functions and fixing troublesome errors. The latest update available in Google Play and App Store is another step towards improving the operation of the application. One of the most important novelties is improved onboarding, i.e. the process of introducing the application, which now has a more intuitive and accessible appearance.

Notifications. What’s changing?

One of the most important changes is the ability to manage push notifications. Users can now mark notifications as read or unread, making it easier to stay on top of current information. While this may seem like a small change, it really improves your everyday use of the app.

Extension of the “My Vehicles” function

The update also brought significant changes to the “My Vehicles” service. Thanks to the new functions, owners and co-owners of vehicles registered in the Central Vehicle Register can now check additional information, such as the date of technical inspection and the reason for issuing a duplicate document. These facilities will certainly prove useful, especially for people who often use this function.

mObywatel – what’s new in the future?

The development of the mObywatel application is not slowing down. The Ministry of Digitization and the Central IT Center are working on further improvements that may appear soon. These include:

  • ePayments,

  • disabled person’s ID card,

  • teacher’s ID,

  • application for an ID card (for yourself and your child),

  • e-Delivery,

  • ability to sign documents with a trusted profile and e-ID,

  • access to the Contact Data Register,

  • mCrash (service facilitating accident reporting),

  • development of the “Safely online” service,

  • virtual assistant – chatbot to help with state services,

  • development of the Company service (enabling the establishment of a business).
