Michał Kubiak strongly about the criticism of Bartosz Kurek. “This is a legend of Polish volleyball”

Michał Kubiak has been appearing on foreign leagues for several years. The 36 -year -old volleyball player appeared in PlusLiga for the last time in 2014, in the colors of Jastrzębski Węgiel. Later he traveled in turn Turkey and Japan, and currently the former captain of the Polish national team appears on the league fields in China.

One of the interesting threads was the return of the volleyball player to Polish club games. As the person admitted himself, he does not close himself at such a possibility. For now, Kubiak does not have a signed contract with the Chinese Shanghai Bright for the next season.

A few weeks ago, we informed in “Wprost” about trying Kubiak to PSG Stal Nysa. Fabian Drzyzga would also go there, and what’s more, there were also rumors about the great return to his homeland … Bartosz Kurek. However, it is difficult to seriously take voices about the transfer of “Kurasia” to Nysa, since now the club must tremble for maintaining in PlusLiga, and in addition the value of the contract of such a volleyball player, it is certainly considerable. One thing is certain-Kurek breaks up after the 2024/25 season with ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle-which he informed during a visit to the Zero channel at Krzysztof Standowski.

Kubiak referred to the way some treat a return to PlusLiga Kurek. We are talking especially about criticism on the occasion of the weaker performances of the Polish national team captain in the colors of the club from Kędzierzyn-Koźle.

– I don’t like how some people speak about, even Bartek Kurek. That he must make up for his contract to work out. I don’t like it very much, because this is a legend of Polish volleyball and such people should be treated with greater respect. And not like a 20 -year -old who is just entering the games. The peasant should be worn on his hands for playing the Polish league. More and more of the PlusLiga players are leaving, good volleyballers are running away, and in my opinion it will get worse. Because Japan opens to three foreigners in the team, there are voices that it will be similar with Korea. So as long as we can watch players such as Bartek Kurek in the Polish league, we must appreciate them, respect them – said Kubiak.

It is worth adding that Kurek unlucky began his first season after a few years break in PlusLiga. Already at the inauguration, Captain Zaksa suffered a serious eye injury, after an unfortunate ball hit in the match against PGE Projekt Warszawa. As a result, the tap was missing for several weeks on the pitch. In January, however, “Kuraś” showed great power. In four matches, he won a set of MVP statuettes for ZAKSA victories and his very successful, individual performances on domestic floors.
