Megahotel in Poland attracts Germans. “One of the main tourist attractions”

Hotel Gołębiewski

Gołębiewski owes his successful summer in Pobierowo not only to guests from Poland. Now the German “Bild” has written about a gigantic hotel on the Baltic Sea.

The Gołębiewski Hotel in Pobierowo aroused great emotions from the very beginning. The gigantic facility squeezed between a pine forest and the Baltic Sea has been criticized for years for the scale of the investment, problems with permits and construction delays. After opening, however, it quickly turned out that its scale became the biggest magnet for tourists. Now the German “Bild” has written about the Polish megahotel, drawing attention primarily to the enormous interest of guests from beyond the western border and calling the facility “one of the main tourist attractions” of this part of the coast.

Summer brought the first success

As “Bild” reminds, only in July and August Gołębiewski in Pobierowo provided over 88,162 thousand. accommodation. Over 30,000 were booked within 62 days. rooms, and hotel restaurants spent approximately PLN 210,000. meals. It cannot be denied that Germans were the largest group of foreign guests – about 1,300 people came from this country in the summer. There were also tourists from Sweden, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Austria. “We expected great interest, but only the final data for the entire summer revealed its true scale,” said hotel director Barbara Garczyńska. The success is clear, especially since Gołębiewski opened to tourists only a few weeks before the holidays – on June 10.

Tourists want holidays in a large resort

According to “Bild”, the interest in Gołębiewski is also influenced by the form of the stay itself. The hotel actually operates like a large holiday resort, where guests can enjoy buffet meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), as well as additional restaurants, spa treatments and the Tropikana water park. So they don’t have many reasons to leave the hotel during the day.

The stay, even according to German tourists, is not the cheapest one. A couple usually pays around PLN 1,400 – 1,700 per night, but despite this, the demand remains high. The number of rooms is expected to increase further – currently there are 530 available, and in the future there will be more than twice as many. “This raises concerns about competition on the coast,” we read.
