Mass scale of clerical crimes? “The new power must do something about it”

The event of the last days is the report of the Ministry of Justice, which shows that in 2016-2023 200 investigations conducted by law enforcement authorities (prosecutor’s office at various levels) were politically motivated. Which means that procedural decisions issued in these cases (initiation or refusal to initiate criminal proceedings) were not motivated in substance. Calling it simply – they were unlawful. However, this is just a drop of lawlessness in the sea of ​​what they did, and continue to do so, law enforcement agencies with abuse of the tax penal code in matters of ordinary people.

Of course, the prosecutor’s office is constantly chasing crimes of theft, burglaries, murders and similar ones. At least we think so. Although examples of Tomasz Komenda and many other, so nightmarish neglect, leading to human misfortunes, have never been explained, even to the least. Which cannot not be worried about the state of the Polish prosecutor’s office.

Unlawful is the same when law enforcement agencies for their own benefits (directly prosecutors or persons of institutions related to them) abuse their rights, and when they do it on a political order. It is always the worst thing that the state, i.e. citizens, can happen.
