Na majówkę do Kazimierza Dolnego? Orlen szykuje promocje

The May 2025 long weekend is an opportunity for many Poles to travel and relax. Everything indicates that drivers will be able to count on lower fuel prices.

The upcoming picnic is a time of increased trips – both in Poland and abroad. In 2025, May 1 falls on Thursday, which gives a chance for an extended, even four -day weekend. As every year, the police remind drivers of the need to be particularly cautious on the roads. During this period, officers intensify speed and sobriety checks. Mandates are issued without a reduced tariff.

The officers also call for securing houses against departure and maintaining safety rules over water and barbecue.

Orlen is preparing a promotion

Good news for drivers are the announcements of the president of Orlen, Ireneusz Fąfara. As he informs, the company plans a special picnic discount campaign. Although the details have not yet been revealed, everything indicates that the fuel at Orlen stations will be cheaper.

– We want to help our clients spend this time cheaper and more pleasant – said Fąfara for Business Insider Polska. A year ago, the concern offered a discount of 30 groszy on a liter of fuel, which was met with great interest of drivers.

May inspirations. Where to go to avoid crowds?

Every year, many tourists go to popular resorts such as Zakopane or the Tri -City, but these locations are often full of long weekend. Despite this, Poles go there anyway, and then complain about permanent traffic jams and queues everywhere.

If you care about peaceful rest without crowds of tourists, it is worth considering less obvious, but extremely charming places. In Lower Silesia, a great choice will be the Golden Stok with an underground route in the Gold Mine, and in the Lublin region – the picturesque Kazimierz Dolny, ideal for a weekend walk among monuments and on the Vistula. In the Podlasie Voivodship it is worth visiting Tykocin – a town with a rich history and a Jewish heritage, while in the north – Kashubian Switzerland with its hilly landscapes and numerous lakes. Lovers of nature will also appeal to Roztocze – a green corner full of pedestrian and bicycle routes, and at the same time away from the hustle and bustle of big cities.
