Maja Chwalińska at your fingertips! Great news for fans from Poland

Maja Chwalińska

Maja Chwalińska is the finalist of Roland Garros 2026. The Polish tennis player will soon play in the tournament, where there will probably be a lot of Polish fans in the stands.

Maja Chwalińska’s story from recent weeks is like a ready-made script for a movie. The tennis player, who came to the French capital as the player number 114 in the WTA ranking, made it to the final of a Grand Slam tournament. Roland Garros 2026 was exceptionally happy for Chwalińska. The Pole lost only in the direct game for the title, losing to the Russian Mira Andreeva.

The life of a modest and smiling girl from a tennis club in Bielsko-Biała changed forever. Now Chwalińska will have to face expectations that will certainly grow from tournament to tournament. First challenge? A London classic, the most legendary tennis tournament in the world – Wimbledon.

Maja Chwalińska is back in the game! It will be a treat for Polish fans

It is not only in London that you will be able to see Chwalińska in action. The RG 2026 finalist, right after competing on Wimbledon, will take part in tournaments in Romania (WTA 250, Iasi, July 13-19) and Germany (WTA 250, Hamburg, July 20-26).

Especially a performance abroad may be interesting from the perspective of Polish fans. Unfortunately, in the case of domestic players, there are no tournament opportunities to watch the best tennis players on the WTA tour. For this reason, watching the above-mentioned Chwalińska or Iga Świątek in action is rather like traveling with your finger on a map to the nearest possible European place. And tournaments in Germany can be an interesting solution, especially during the holiday season.

However, before the WTA 250 competition, Chwalińska’s performance in Wimbledon promises to be interesting. It is worth recalling that the Pole was in the second round of the main tournament in London in 2022. So far, this is her best result at Wimbledon. Now, due to the so-called wild card, the RG 2026 finalist has entry to the main part of the game – ex officio. And with a good draw, it can be a really good start to achieving the next result in life.

Wimbledon 2026 broadcasts will be available on Polsat sports channels and online at Polsat Box Go. The tournament is scheduled for June 29 – July 12. Qualifying will start a week earlier.
