LOT will support travel agencies by launching additional flights due to difficulties in getting out of Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Subject to availability, places may be offered to individual clients.
LOT Polish Airlines announced on social media that “taking into account the very limited possibilities of getting out of Sri Lanka and the Maldives, in cooperation with travel agencies, they are launching return flights on the Colombo – Warsaw and Male – Warsaw routes.” As explained, “on additional flights departing from both ports on March 10, in the morning, seats for individual tourists will be offered, subject to availability.”
The national carrier emphasized that “tickets for these connections will be available only through the following agents: Weco-Travel – tel: +48 22 568 09 60 or +48 22 568 09 61, eTravel – tel: +48 22 482 00 02 and LOT Travel – tel: +48 22 274 10 70.” LOT Polish Airlines concluded that “these are the exclusive offices authorized to sell PLL LOT return flights.” Information about subsequent return flights is to be provided on an ongoing basis.
