LOT problems on the way to the Dominican Republic. All because of the explosion of the Muska rocket

The LOT aircraft had to make a holding after the explosion of the Starship Rocket from Space X. Ultimately, the pilots managed to safely fly to the Dominican Republic.
The eighth test LOT Starship belonging to the Space X company Elona Muska, like the seventh attempt, ended in a failure. The rocket exploded only a few minutes after launching her from Texas, causing chaos in the airspace. Due to the shields falling from the sky, some flights on the Caribbean Sea had to be suspended. The explosion was influenced by, among others For LOT passengers’ journey. The Polish carrier aircraft aiming at the Dominican Republic had to circulate over the Atlantic before he obtained permission to continue the cruise.
Paralysis in the sky after the rocket explosion
The second mission of Elon Musk ended in a fiasco. Starship, the largest rocket ever built, exploded in the air after eight minutes of flight, which began on Thursday local time at 18:30. The shards of the ship immediately began to head towards the ground like balls. As a result of the explosion, traffic at Florida airports was temporarily suspended, including in Miami and Orlando. The American Federal Aviation Administration informed passengers about the event, calling “an incident related to the start of a spacecraft.” Musk did not refer to the accident.
LOT plane circulated in the air
One of the victims of the unlucky explosion turned out to be the Aircraft of the Polish Airlines LOT. Dreamliner, who was just making a charter connection from Warsaw to Punta Cany in the Dominican Republic, was detained in the so -called holding, i.e. the procedure for waiting for further instructions from the flight control tower, during which the aircraft performs laps in the air. Fortunately, the problems did not last long, and the pilots quickly received the green light for further safe continuation of the flight towards the island of Haiti. He informed about the event registered by Flightradar24.com, among others Karol Wójcicki from the blog “With the head in the stars”. The incident was confirmed by Krzysztof Moczulski LOT spokesman in an interview with Onet. “Everything happened according to the procedure,” we read.
